I love Billy Kidd; he's my favorite "new" photographer. His black and white portraiture is so PURE and always dynamic/subversive. I just want to sit and look at these photos.

I can't speak for Bert, but he tends to moderate comments which are rude to the point where any kind of critique is lost within them. I didn't see your comment, and it's happened to me before.

Keep in mind that photographers (like Billy, maybe) send Bert their work for him to post on here. He has professional relationships to uphold in order to keep this community engaging and diverse in its content.

I only critiqued the styling and wasn't even rude about... I just pointed it out.

I guess I understand, but he should add a 'please, only positive comments' clause or something.

I don't think it's that he doesn't want negative comments (if that were the case, half of the comments in this comm would be deleted) it's just when they're not constructive that's it's a problem

I like the face shots a lot, they are intense. But the body close up just rubs me in the wrong way.

this is fabulous!
first shot kinda looks like she had a lil accident though... hip proportions freakin me out in some but there is something very raw that works sooo well
